Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website thequickapps.com and the Chrome extension Xtract, provided by The Quick Apps (the "Studio", "we", "us"). Please read them carefully. By using the service, you accept these Terms in full.

01Acceptance of Terms

By installing the Xtract extension, creating an account, or otherwise using the service, you confirm that:

• You are at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract;
• You have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy;
• If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you have the authority to bind it.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the service.

02Description of Service

Xtract is a Chrome browser extension that allows users to export the list of their own or public X (formerly Twitter) accounts' followers to a CSV file. The extension is distributed under a freemium model:

• Free tier — limited number of followers per export, basic features
• Premium tier — higher quotas, advanced filters, priority support

The scraping process runs entirely inside your browser. We do not store exported followers data on our servers. See the Privacy Policy for details.

03Account & Authentication

The free tier can be used without any account. The Premium tier requires a valid account, created through Google OAuth (Sign in with Google).

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google account;
• You must not share, sell, or transfer access to your Premium account;
• You must provide accurate information and notify us of any change.

04Subscription & Billing

Prices

All prices are quoted in US dollars (USD) and are exclusive of applicable taxes. LemonSqueezy, acting as Merchant of Record, collects and remits applicable VAT and sales taxes.

Payment methods

• Credit card — processed by LemonSqueezy. Card details are never seen or stored by The Quick Apps.
• Cryptocurrency — processed by NOWPayments. Manual renewal only; no auto-charge.

Auto-renewal & cancellation

Card-based subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your LemonSqueezy customer portal. After cancellation, your Premium access remains active until the end of the current paid period; you will not be charged again.

Crypto-based subscriptions do not renew automatically. Access simply expires at the end of the paid period and you may purchase a new period at any time.

05Refunds

7-day money-back guarantee — first purchase only. If you are not satisfied with your first Premium purchase, you may request a full refund within 7 days of payment. Refunds do not apply to renewals or subsequent purchases.

To request a refund, email quickapps.support@gmail.com from the address used at checkout, including your order number. Refunds are processed through the original payment method within 14 days.

Transaction fees charged by payment providers (~$0.50–$2 depending on method) will be deducted from the refunded amount. These fees are non-recoverable on our side.

Cryptocurrency payments: due to the volatility and irreversible nature of crypto transactions, refunds may be issued in the original crypto at the exchange rate of the day of refund, or in equivalent USD via a different method, at our discretion.

These refund terms do not affect your statutory rights under French and EU consumer law, including the 14-day right of withdrawal (droit de rétractation) for consumers. However, by starting to use the Premium features immediately after purchase, you expressly waive the right of withdrawal for the portion of the service already performed, in accordance with Article L. 221-28-13 of the French Consumer Code.

06Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Xtract to:

• Scrape data from accounts or audiences without a legitimate basis under applicable data-protection law;
• Resell raw follower data as a commercial product;
• Harass, stalk, dox, or threaten any person or group;
• Build databases for unsolicited marketing (spam) in violation of GDPR or the ePrivacy Directive;
• Violate X's own Terms of Service or any applicable law;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the extension (except where explicitly permitted by law);
• Circumvent quota limits, authentication, or licensing mechanisms;
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose, including disinformation campaigns or election interference.

Violation of this section is grounds for immediate termination without refund, and may result in legal action.

07Intellectual Property

Xtract and The Quick Apps are the exclusive property of The Quick Apps. Any reproduction, distribution, or counterfeiting is strictly prohibited and punishable by law (French Intellectual Property Code, articles L.335-2 et seq.).

Your exported data — the CSV files produced by Xtract — belong to you. We claim no rights over them. You are solely responsible for complying with applicable law (notably GDPR) when processing them.

08Disclaimer

X/Twitter is a trademark of X Corp. The Quick Apps is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp or any of its subsidiaries.

The service is provided "as-is" and "as-available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The extension will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted;
• Exports will be complete or accurate;
• The service will remain functional indefinitely.

X Corp may change their website, API, or Terms of Service at any time, which may partially or completely break Xtract functionality. We will do our best to adapt, but we make no guarantee of continuous compatibility.

09Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Quick Apps, its founder, and its contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, business interruption, or reputational harm.

Our aggregate liability to you, for any claim arising out of or related to the service, is capped at the amount you paid during the last billing period preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under French law (e.g. gross negligence or willful misconduct, bodily injury).

10Termination

By you: you may stop using the service at any time. You can cancel your subscription from the LemonSqueezy portal, uninstall the extension, and request account deletion by email.

By us: we may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if:

• You breach these Terms (notably Section 6 — Prohibited Uses);
• Your use puts the service, its users, or third parties at risk;
• We receive a valid legal or regulatory request requiring termination.

Termination for breach does not entitle you to a refund. Termination for convenience by us (e.g. discontinuation of Xtract) entitles you to a prorated refund of the unused portion of your subscription.

11Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to the service, these Terms, or the Privacy Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France, except where mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence grant you the right to bring proceedings before your local courts.

Before any legal action, we encourage you to contact us at quickapps.support@gmail.com to seek an amicable resolution. Consumers resident in the EU may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform.

12Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our service, our business, or the law. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Free-tier users will see a one-time notification in the extension.

Your continued use of the service after the effective date of a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the service and may request a prorated refund of any unused subscription period.
